Vivo has announced the appointment of Joshua Bettis as Executive Chef. In his new role as Executive Chef, Bettis is responsible for all culinary operations at Vivo Seasonal Trattoria.
Bettis brings an impressive resume to Hartford. His knowledge and creativity from more than 20 years of award-winning culinary experience in locations throughout the United States and Ireland will be infused into the Vivo experience. His past positions include Executive Sous Chef at the Montelucia Resort and Spa in Paradise Valley, AZ; Executive Chef at The Brown Hotel in Louisville, KY; and, Executive Chef and Devil’s Thumb Ranch Resort and Spa in Tabernash, CO. Most recently, Bettis was the Executive Chef at the Mayflower Inn and Spa in Washington, CT.
Chef Bettis is particularly excited to work with Vivo’s local Connecticut suppliers. From locally caught shellfish and fish to the seasonal fresh produce sourced from Connecticut farms, his dishes will overflow with freshness and create memorable dining experiences for Vivo guests.
